Ngo Area

Over the weekend the journalist Andy Ngo got attacked by Antifa at a rally in Portland, Oregon:

He ended up in hospital with his face bashed up and bleeding on the brain. There were also reports that milkshakes laced with corrosive liquid concrete were being prepared in advance and handed out to people to throw.

This was allowed to happen because the Mayor of Portland long ago decided Antifa could own the streets, assault people on a whim, and he would order the police to stand by and let it happen. However, if Antifa met with any sort of opposition, the police would be sent in to break things up and the mainstream media ordered to run the narrative that Antifa weren’t to blame. This has been the way of things for Antifa in Portland for at least two years now. The difference this time is they battered someone who enjoys a lot of support from the wider world, whereas up to now they mainly targeted nobodies.

Of course, half the blue checkmark journalists who scream that Trump is waging a war on the free press were quick to defend Antifa’s actions, lay the blame on Ngo for being a provocateur, and declare that he’s not really a journalist. Unfortunately, the right have responded to this in the way they always do, by pointing out the hypocrisy in their one millionth attempt this year to shame the utterly shameless.

As I’ve said before, the right needs to understand what it’s up against. The Portland Mayor and Portland Police are the problem, so there’s no point appealing to them for help, and the same goes in other cities where the administration and police provide protection for lawless mobs who further the interests of the ruling classes. The right needs to work out who its true enemies are and fight them using their brains, not going toe-to-toe in unwinnable street battles or sending some poor sod like Andy Ngo in on his own to get his head kicked in.

Antifa are vulnerable, in part because they are made up of absolute whimps who only attack in groups, but also because they are reactionary as hell. If the right try putting on a march somewhere, Antifa show up in numbers and get it shut down. Well, what’s stopping the right arranging several dozen marches only one of which is a real one, or perhaps none at all, and letting Antifa play whack-a-mole? Charlottesville is generally considered to be a disaster for the alt-right because they provided the bogeyman the left has always warned about, i.e. gangs of neo-Nazis leaping from the shadows, and also because what passed for the alt-right leadership decided to turn this into the battle of Gettysburg. What they should have done is launch the tika-torch defence of the statue and then just melted away, and popped up somewhere else a month later or the next night. You don’t need to agree with the politics of the torch-bearers to acknowledge that it was spontaneous, surprised everyone, was visually effective, and sent liberals into utter meltdown.

That’s what the right needs to get good at, guerrilla tactics which take minimum effort but force their opponents to burn energy and resources in response, only when they arrive everyone’s gone. The North Vietnamese were spectacularly good at this, getting whole American divisions to hack their way through thick jungle chasing ghosts, and popping up somewhere else to hit the stragglers at their most vulnerable. But this will need a change of mindset, to stop appealing to mainstream institutions for help and inclusion and to understand the fight hasn’t just got dirty, it’s been dirty for a very long time.

  1. Not really across what all this is about, I looked at some of the dudes videos on his twitter account. Not good that he got injured, but he is lucky he never got the living shit kicked out of him. Naive on his part to do what he done, and totally ineffective as a combat strategy as well. Hard to make sense of what he was trying to achieve, if as he says its a no go zone for dudes like him. But yeah I just couldn’t get what was going on, the flags, the chanting, the meanings, the normal dudes that were trying to break it up, showing my age I guess.

When I were a lad the opponents were over there and you were over here and the belting the shit out of each other was kind of more orderly, logical and made sense.

  2. Tim,
Correct. The right needs to play against the left using many or all of their own shitty tactics. Nice guys don’t win. Fortunately the right has the world’s No.1 shitlord to give master classes in outplaying the left. Time for the troops to catch up.

    (p.s. there’s no ‘h’ in wimps)

  3. I see (at least) two problems with this argument.

First, it assumes that the “right” is some sort of homogeneous group. Almost by definition it isn’t because it tends to include people who are more individualist with a much wider political and economic view of life. The group that is most likely to be organised is the so called far right and they are so far right they are just Antifa under a different banner and will be just our for trench warfare rather than guerrilla warfare.

Second, even if you could find a way to organise the right the leaders would soon be identified and defenestrated, along with their lieutenants. To a certain extent that is already happening with no platforming by Google, Facebook and Twitter.

And no, I don’t know the answer. To a certain extent its the likes of Trump who drives them to distraction and makes them look ever more ridiculous to the average voter. The problem with that line is it also rallies both sides and makes trench warfare more likely.

Ideally “capitalism” would have finished them off by starving them of funds but too many of our modern business leaders have been drinking the kool aid of corporate social responsibility at business school.

  4. Sooner or later, antifa are going to seriously piss off the wrong people and get a proper kicking. I’d like to see them go up against some ex-servicemen or bike gangs. In fact, I’d pay to see that.

Personally, if some purple-haired moron tries to douse me in milkshake, I’m going to make damn sure I get my retaliation in first.

  5. The right blogs and comments on what people of the right ought to do.

The left goes out and does it.

    Who’s going to win?

  6. Tim is right that there are ways that even a handful of loosely organized opponents of these Fascists could run them ragged — mainly by interfering with their communication networks. But violence begets violence, and it is unlikely that everyone will accept the ground rule that Antifa Fascists can use violence while no-one else is allowed to.

Once things turn nasty, think of what one armed Norwegian was able to do to an island full of Young Socialists.

I wonder about the morale of the Portland police force. How many of those guys are thinking that they did not chose to become law officers to defend violent thugs?

One provocateur in a stolen police uniform firing blanks into a crowd of Antifa Fascists could be like the first neutron that triggers a nuclear chain reaction. The hardcore Antifa Fascists would automatically attack the police — and the police would respond in kind in self-defense. Meanwhile, the crowd of milksop Antifa Fascists would run — creating the kind of crowd carnage that used to happen at English soccer matches as they push over each other. After a big casualty figure, there would probably be a lot fewer milksops turning up for the next fascist Antifa march.

  7. So what exactly are the Portland police doing in all of this? I understand that the political leadership may be inclined to create a space for their political protests, maybe even fairly enough.

But once it descends into vandalism or violence, as it seems to do fairly often, why are they not being shut down? The hardcore mobs rarely seem to be of a size that would trouble a halfway-competent riot police department; this isn’t the Hong Kong protests.

I guess I’m wondering how deep the official sympathies for this lot run?

  8. I’d like to see them go up against some ex-servicemen or bike gangs. In fact, I’d pay to see that.

It’s already happened: two marines got put in hospital. If you’re outnumbered, there’s not much you can do. But the real problem is as soon as proper opposition shows up, the police jump in to protect them. What would make them think twice is if one or two were picked off on their way home from the rally.

  9. The French equivalent of Antifa, the usual trust funded anarchists, polyamorous trans identifarians etc came out to cause mayhem in the Gilets Jaunes protest. So the GJ are now dispersed on roundabouts and provincial towns and Macron can ignore them.
Even Antifa morons have a right to have a rally. Let them march. If they kick off some random violence then either the police intervene or the mayor gets kicked out of office.

  10. what’s stopping the right arranging several dozen marches only one of which is a real one, or perhaps none at all, and letting Antifa play whack-a-mole?

The problem with arranging dummy marches is that at some point attendees will need to be told which one to turn up for, and as soon as that happens, antifa will know too. It would be impossible to keep it secret while expecting a large turnout.

I think I remember reading about an entirely fake march being set up. Antifa turned up and, with no right wing targets, started throwing things at the police (whom they see as being fascists anyway). That’s what I don’t get: surely the police can’t stand the people who make up antifa and don’t really want to aid and protect them.

The right ought to be uniting in the face of what antifa, and the left in general, are doing. Whether we all know it or want to accept it, if you’re to the right of Trotsky, value western civilization and want it to still exist when your grandchildren are old, then the so-called fascists are your allies.

  11. Since the “right” is defined as those who oppose the left, and there is a vast range of reasons for opposing the left, there is little chance of the right uniting.
Maybe there’s some mileage in someone spoofing them to disrupt non-existent rallies, since that could be done by one person. presumably Antifa would get bored after a bit, and I suspect for most of them it’s just recreation.
If the spoof rallies were at locations populated by favoured classes, say the homeless, that might cause dissent in the ranks.
But in the grand scheme of things, this makes Antifa and their backers look bad, and will end with a change of mayor in Portland- and meantime produce votes for Trump.
The Dems white clad bully boys did them no good. Neither will the black clad equivalent.

  12. Speaking of “guerrilla tactics”: one person who has been trashing Ngo for a long time is the pompous anti-racist journalist David Neiwert, who is based in the Pacific NW.

Neiwert is a big fan of “deplatforming” people he disagrees with, but in a delicious irony, the deplatformer was himself recently deplatformed by Twitter. You can read his account here:

    https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2019/6/21/1866170/-An-alt-right-troll-successfully-gamed-Twitter-into-banning-my-book-cover-on-the-radical-right

  13. The North Vietnamese were spectacularly good at this, getting whole American divisions to hack their way through thick jungle chasing ghosts, and popping up somewhere else to hit the stragglers at their most vulnerable

Yeah, but they couldn’t actually win like that. Their only hope of actual victory was to keep the USA bogged down for long enough, and appear sympathetic enough, that public opinion in the USA would turn against the war and do their job for them (there are lots of subtleties but basically that’s it).

Everything the right does is pointless unless it has as its end goal turning mainstream public opinion against the left. That is the only possible victory.

I mean yes, the Portland Mayor is the problem. But the only solution is to get the voters to turn against the Mayor so that either the Mayor has to change sides for fear of being voted out of office, or the Mayor actually does get voted out of office and replaced by someone less insane.

Everything has to have that goal in mind. Simply winning the street clashes isn’t enough — might even be counter-productive. The US military won most of the battles in Viet Nam, albeit at a far higher cost than they should. They lost the war because they didn’t understand that every battle they won made them, and the war, less popular, and that’s what, ultimately, decided the conflict.

  14. A more elegant solution would be to hang round on their social media outing a few of the hardliners as agent provocateurs and sit back whilst they kick the shit out of each other. With a bit of luck you could get them divided into mutually hostile factions that are more of a danger to each other than anyone else.

If you’re going to play dirty, play dirty…

  15. “The problem with arranging dummy marches is that at some point attendees will need to be told which one to turn up for, and as soon as that happens, antifa will know too. It would be impossible to keep it secret while expecting a large turnout.”

Absolutely, looking at the video this is a kind of white on white thing, if it was a black thing then these kind of tactics or interfering with da phone systems would be more effective.

Maybe creating a modern day Sturmabteilung (SA) of Brown Shirts type security group whose job is to protect them when marching and assembling. The Brown Shirts were created to protect the marchers from communists and lefties who were significant in number and armed and dangerous. They were very effective as well.

  16. “If you’re going to play dirty, play dirty…”

My local store just got this nifty portable power pack which is really a camera in stock, 120 degree view, night vision, wifi, view footage on phone and can be motion detected activated. I had a look at it yesterday but the dude needs to get the SD card for it and then he can demonstrate it. Probably a bit early for me to buy, need to work out what kind of environment that I will need it for but undoubtedly a very effective defensive shield with sword qualities as well.

  17. I’m not victim blaming but Ngo wasn’t smart. It was obvious he’d eventually be a target and he should have taken appropriate precautions.

As for the Antifa idiots, I’ve seen little video evidence that any of them would be at all handy in a ruck and the reason they haven’t been seriously hurt yet is because nobody is particularly bothered by their antics.

Of course, that last statement remains correct until the precise moment it doesn’t, which I suspect will be when they try to pull these types of stunts anywhere enough numbers of suitably robust people are trying to go about lawful business, rather than political stuff.

    One of my favourite examples of this from the London Petroleum Exchange;
    https://www.standard.co.uk/news/mass-brawl-on-the-trading-floor-7169300.html

  18. One of my favourite examples of this from the London Petroleum Exchange;

Ah yes, the famous “Sod off, Swampy” episode.
Love it. One of the ages that one.

There needs to be more of it.

  19. Antifa never seem to turn up to a Rodeo, or NASCAR rally, & give shit to the “fascist Trump lovers” to be found in abundance within.

    Funny about that.

(It’s not as if either of those events are hard to find in the USA)

  20. At 250 $A, think your local store saw you coming, Bardon. That’s the sort of kit you can buy direct out of China for 20 bucks. My top-pocket pen camera I use for business meetings cost me 8 quid.plus another couple for the SD card. It’ll record 2 hours of wide angle video & sound on internal battery or on an external, 6 hours of 720P into 32GB of memory.

  21. Yeah, but they couldn’t actually win like that.

It’s not their strategy the right should admire in this context, but their tactics.

  22. One provocateur in a stolen police uniform firing blanks into a crowd of Antifa Fascists could be like the first neutron that triggers a nuclear chain reaction.

You’d need someone suicidal, then. Anyone doing that would die in a hail of bullets pretty quickly.

  23. @BIS

Nothing is cheap here and you don’t buy here and I can see the price on internet. I like free demos though. I ain’t buying it but just saying that it is a good thing to leave On the table when you leave to make a call and see what’s going on when you get out. That’s all, you can’t do that with your pen.

I have a $10phone app that does me proud on the secret recording score, other than calls and would attract attention if I left it on the desk and also wouldn’t be able to view it.

I was only supporting the post that If you are going to play the game be dirty. Not like that goofy dork with his 1990 hand cam, I would have kicked him up the arse myself if I came across him.

  24. The problem with arranging dummy marches is that at some point attendees will need to be told which one to turn up for, and as soon as that happens, antifa will know too. It would be impossible to keep it secret while expecting a large turnout.

As I said, the right needs to get smarter. Which means operating in cells with a small bunch of reliable people – a bit like Antifa do, actually. How many right wingers standing at the base of a confederate statue do you need to trigger the liberal media machine? A dozen? 30 tops?

  25. First, it assumes that the “right” is some sort of homogeneous group.

Not really. I know the right is fractured, but I used “the right” to mean “those on the right who are serious about fighting back and winning”. I’m sure as soon as someone comes up with an effective tactic half the right will wring their hands and say “this isn’t who we are!”

  26. I’m not of the opinion that forming right-wing street gangs to counter antifa with violence is a good idea. Sounds like a 1920s Weimar solution. Much better to send in the National Guard.

That said, I have to ask – why should the nation as a whole make Portland into an ideological battleground? From all appearances, it’s a hard-left city, which has chosen a hard-left mayor, and is now suffering hard-left consequences. Maybe this is a good thing? The whole idea of a federation of states is that each state is different, wanting different solutions to different problems. Let the rest of the country observe the results, and take warning.

  27. I’m not of the opinion that forming right-wing street gangs to counter antifa with violence is a good idea.

So am I, and that’s exactly what is happening now. It is completely stupid.

That said, I have to ask – why should the nation as a whole make Portland into an ideological battleground?

Indeed, they shouldn’t. Hard left centres should be avoided and ignored. Better to force them onto unfamiliar turf.

  28. Ngo Zones

I must say, you’ve been adding powdered cement to your pun-headline milkshakes, Tim.

Incidentally, returning to a subject discussed in a previous thread (about the right eating the right), I found an example which I think is much more alarming than any of those mentioned.

This is Jordan Peterson’s “Forbidden Conversation” with Milo Yiannopoulos. I’m not sure I would take Milo’s accusations at face value – he comes over as a little too self-aggrandizing at times. In a phrase, Milo accuses the “National Review crowd” of jealousy of his impending success, so they trawled through hours of old interviews of his, deceptively edited a risque one, and fed it to the leftists, who went into a feeding frenzy. Quite how he knows this is left unsaid – perhaps it’s amply documented, and I’m just ignorant of it.

  29. This is Jordan Peterson’s “Forbidden Conversation” with Milo Yiannopoulos.

Yes, I wrote about that here.

And alluded to the behaviour of conservatives:

Milo pointed out in the podcast that when he got picked off, conservatives said nothing. They then said nothing when Alex Jones and Sargon of Akkad got taken down. If prominent right wingers said anything at all, it was to punch right – as Ben Shapiro habitually does. As I’ve said before, those who consider themselves moderate conservatives police the boundaries of right wing political discourse tightly, afraid of being outflanked by proper conservatives and desperate to retain the lucrative label as an “acceptable” right winger who gets invited onto talk shows.

Pay more attention in class, Jonathan!

  30. It’s not their strategy the right should admire in this context, but their tactics.

Tactics without strategy just means you lose.

If you want to win, you need strategy first, and then that dictates the tactics.

You don’t start with tactics and then… I don’t know, just kinda hope you aimlessly flail your way to victory?

  31. If you want to win, you need strategy first, and then that dictates the tactics.

Example Of How The Right Loses No. 12,495:

No discussion of effective tactics can take place until the right has a universally agreed upon strategy

Seriously, you think Antifa has a strategy?

You don’t start with tactics and then… I don’t know, just kinda hope you aimlessly flail your way to victory?

Which is precisely what the North Vietnamese did. They started with the tactics and stumbled upon the strategy much later in the war when the American public handed it to them.

  32. Pay more attention in class, Jonathan!

I was just testing your alertness, Miss Merriweather!

  33. Tim, I agree with your take on tactics and Z man has his view on the futility of the street fighting when viewed through the MSM lens. You have to admit though its sorely tempting to want to put the fear of God into the wimpy little commie fuckers.

  34. Seriously, you think Antifa has a strategy?

No, but then, I don’t think they are the enemy. The enemy is the leftie groupthink that has siezed control of the universities and schools, the media, and the political establishment.

Punch-ups on the streets make for dramatic pictures but they are, ultimately, irrelevant to the big picture.

If you try to fight ‘antifa’ at all you’ve been drawn into wasting effort that could have been better spent.

Well, unless Ngo deliberately put himself in danger in order to get beaten up in order to provide dramatic pictures for the news media of an ethnic gay man left bloodied and battered by those on the left, in the hopes those would help incrementally turn the sympathies of the majority away from the left by exposing them as violent hypocrites instead of the heroic rebels they pretend to be.

If so, that’s clever, and that’s a real strategy that has a chance of winning. And indeed that’s the real lesson from Viet Nam about how you win. It wasn’t their guerilla tactics that won the war: it was the pictures of little girls on fire.

  35. You have to admit though its sorely tempting to want to put the fear of God into the wimpy little commie fuckers.

Indeed. The problem is you’d also be taking on the armed police, and Antifa know this only too well. If they didn’t have the police protection, they’d not exist.

  36. And indeed that’s the real lesson from Viet Nam about how you win. It wasn’t their guerilla tactics that won the war: it was the pictures of little girls on fire.

Fair point, but that didn’t have an awful lot to do with the North Vietnamese, did it? Even the pilot who dropped the napalm canister on the village was South Vietnamese, and it happened when the Americans were drawing down rapidly anyway.

  37. Fair point, but that didn’t have an awful lot to do with the North Vietnamese, did it?

It did in the sense that the North Vietnamese strategy was to hang on in there and make the US have to use ever more and mroe extreme tactics that would turn public opinion against the war.

How much of that was planned and how much the stumbled into was beside the point; the point is that it worked, and can be replicated.

The right winning the street brawls won’t win the war, and in fact I think it would be counter-productive: it would allow the left to keep pushing their ‘look they are dangerous, facism is on the rise’ narrative to the mainstream population.

The left can only continue to use these tactics as long as they have the active support of the autorities and that depends on the tacit consent of the vast majority of the population who aren’t critical-theory-spouting wingnuts. It’s that support you have to attack, if you want to win. Knock that away and the whole thing will crumble.

Anything which doesn’t attack that support is wasted effort, and anything which would shore up that support — like, right-wingers being seen to come out on top in the street brawls — is actively shooting yourself in the foot.

  38. It did in the sense that the North Vietnamese strategy was to hang on in there and make the US have to use ever more and mroe extreme tactics that would turn public opinion against the war.

Which wasn’t their adopted strategy at all: see the Tet Offensive.

How much of that was planned and how much the stumbled into was beside the point

I think it’s the crucial point.

The right winning the street brawls won’t win the war, and in fact I think it would be counter-productive: it would allow the left to keep pushing their ‘look they are dangerous, facism is on the rise’ narrative to the mainstream population.

Which is why I wrote a blog post making this precise point.

The left can only continue to use these tactics as long as they have the active support of the autorities and that depends on the tacit consent of the vast majority of the population who aren’t critical-theory-spouting wingnuts. It’s that support you have to attack, if you want to win.

Right, but Antifa and the SJW mobs are the street muscle of the liberal ruling classes. It’s like saying there’s no need to fight the Waffen SS because all you need to do is take out the Nazi leadership.

right-wingers being seen to come out on top in the street brawls — is actively shooting yourself in the foot.

    A wise man once said:

The right needs to work out who its true enemies are and fight them using their brains, not going toe-to-toe in unwinnable street battles…

  39. Right, but Antifa and the SJW mobs are the street muscle of the liberal ruling classes. It’s like saying there’s no need to fight the Waffen SS because all you need to do is take out the Nazi leadership.

It’s not like that at all, because to get to the Nazi leadership it was necessary to go through the Waffen SS (and the Luftwaffe, etc).

Whereas there is absolutely no need to even engage with the leftie street mobs in order to try to win the media war.

It is possible, and would be better, to totally ignore the street mobs. They are a distraction at best and an opportunity to score own goals at worst.

  40. It is possible, and would be better, to totally ignore the street mobs.

Who not only prevent any vaguely conservative speaker from speaking at a university, but also exist online and are instrumental in deplatforming people from social media and getting them fired from their jobs. Yes, why don’t the right just ignore them?

Whereas there is absolutely no need to even engage with the leftie street mobs in order to try to win the media war.

The leftie street mobs are an extension of the media.

  41. Who not only prevent any vaguely conservative speaker from speaking at a university, but also exist online and are instrumental in deplatforming people from social media and getting them fired from their jobs. Yes, why don’t the right just ignore them?

Of course you don’t ignore them. But the online mobs are different, and I think that there’s more chance of change coming from coverage of people like Maya Forstater than there is from any attempt to actually counter their tactics.

  42. “I’m not of the opinion that forming right-wing street gangs to counter antifa with violence is a good idea. Sounds like a 1920s Weimar solution. Much better to send in the National Guard.”

The national guard wont work because they wouldn’t be working directly for the organisation that is doing the protesting and gathering, they need customized tactics for the dispelling of doped up children of heavy metal freak brother parents. It may well recruit ex-national guard into its front line enforcers, but using a standing army wont work, army is just to constitutionally difficult, that alone would ensure that it didn’t work.

Get the security detail in place, have two set of “hunger marches” starting in Boston and Miami and march through each city gaining support and power all the way to Lincolns Memorial, in DC.

Then, silence as our leader speaks and unites the patriots.

    What’s not to like?

With a bit of luck all those mini earthquakes in California will have opened up the San-Andreas fault by then and taken care of the West.

  43. Isn’t all this “whither the Right’s response?” stuff all a bunch of Armchair General bollocks?

The great thing about the American constitution is that the sort of stupidity the Mayor and the Chief of Police of Portland are allowing to occur on their watch is really unlikely to be mandated Federally.

Therefore, if your fellow citizens vote to make your city a lawless hell hole governed by twenty year old noodle-armed wannabe vigilantes, you can move to Texas and spend your weekends at the gun range.

All this hand-wringing asking “oh what shall we do with these terrible people?” is missing the point. The people of Portland voted for Ted Wheeler and this is what he endorses. If they are happy with the world viewing the basket case he’s presided over, they can vote him in again.

Meanwhile, if you don’t like it, do what I do and refuse to go to Portland. I considered going there next month for a family holiday* and decided to go skiing in Australia instead.

One day they might wake up and realise they’ve turned their city into the Detroit of the West.

    *prove I didn’t….

  44. Therefore, if your fellow citizens vote to make your city a lawless hell hole governed by twenty year old noodle-armed wannabe vigilantes, you can move to Texas and spend your weekends at the gun range.

How’s that states rights stuff working out for gay marriage, immigration, and abortion?

  45. It’s absolutely appalling, but I don’t know why anyone bothers with this nonsense like marches and no platforming at universities.

Why turn up to a university to talk to 200 people when you can just write a blog post that more than 200 people will read? And most of the people in the crowd at the university are pretty much communists.

It makes good copy, probably helps people on both sides to become celebs and sell books, but it’s theatre.

  46. “How’s that states rights stuff working out for gay marriage, immigration, and abortion?”

    Georgia’s Heartbeat Bill, for example?

Safety of the public on the street tends to be quite a crystallising issue to voters, I’ve noticed.

  47. Guerilla thing is all about time and resources. Who is bleeding more.

Left has unlimited resources. They can have 1000 full time antifa ready 24/7 without remarcable expences. Few million a month is no big deal for wealthy elite.

Time ticking also against right. White electorate dying off, migrants keep coming.

At now, left is winning big and there is zero counter measures in sight. Luck of white solidarity is the problem. Without numbers, nobody can`t do anything

Society is atomized, some kind of mass pro white movement with offices around the country, solid financing and crisis plans made is no even discussed.

Vietnam is bad example, South Africa is better. They ignored problems for decades , then lost big and now still ignoring.

  48. some kind of mass pro white movement with offices around the country, solid financing and crisis plans made is no even discussed

That’s a terrible idea. The whole leftie message is ‘it’s whites vs everyone else, if you’re not with us you’re against us.’

Actually setting up a ‘pro-white organisation’ just makes them look like they’re right, and it’s a race war. If you look like you’re preparing for a race war then you’ll do the left’s work of turning the mainstream masses against you.

What the right needs to do is to prove that the left’s message of identity politics and division is false; that it doesn’t matter whether you’re white or black provided everyone gets equality of opportunity.

  49. I’ve been thinking about this a lot over the past few years, and what is happening in the west is what appears to be 4th generation war, but we are still looking at defending ourselves with the non-military equivalent of 1st generation war tactics – trust in fair play, government, law and order etc,. The counter strategy has to be what counter insurgency planners call ‘full spectrum approach’, which should encompass every aspect of our society. I’ll develop this concept further, and write about what this should entail over the next couple of years, as that alone is a massive undertaking. But,

The underlying question I’ve been trying to answer is:

Is this just natural for a late stage ’empire’ – as argued by Sir John Glubb in his essay, ‘The fate of empires and the search for survival’, whereby we are now in the ‘age of decadence’. Or….

Is this a hangover from the cold war, whereby influencer’s (academia, media, political organisations) have been indoctrinated over decades and see the world through a distorted lens – which is passed on to the next generation. Which ensures a country is either ripe for invasion or civil war – as argued by Yuri Bezmenov in his 1980’s interviews. Or….

Or do we go down the Q-anon tin foil hat rabbit hole and assume that this is a multi-decade operation being done to destroy the west by a shadowy elite? As argued by the anonymous conservative blog (linked to by the Z-man)?

Or are the above questions irrelevant for now?
