I’m down in Annecy for a few days, so I might not get a chance to blog about anything until Monday.
On a more uplifting note, a mate in New York texted me saying he’d been chatting last night with some woman who was extolling the virtues of polyamory, and was heavily into Burning Man. Naturally he mentioned my book, which few can deny is the authoritative volume on such a juxtaposition, and today I found I’ve rung up another sale. So, if you happen to get talking to any mentally unstable polyamorists who are into Burning Man, be sure to mention my book.
The green sludge over your post is my envy for the fact that your are in Annecy, positively my favourite place in all of France – lucky bugger!
May bring your average review stars down, dangerous strategy that one…
There is no doubting you are the ‘go to’; guy when it comes to crazy birds.

a-HEM.
This could be the start of those public book-burnings in Brooklyn you were praying for.
Do tell us how the interview went. (Heh)
What everyone said.
Prepare for hate mail and death threats Tim!
yup, The P-G is right.
Our gracious host is doing his best to get on the crazies’ hit list!
Nice prison in Annecy.

I hope so!
Nice prison in Annecy.
Indeed. Few mins walk from my flat.
Isn’t Nice prison in Nice?
“So, if you happen to get talking to any mentally unstable polyamorists who are into Burning Man, be sure to mention my book.”
I’m predicting a rather different outcome.
The friend’s friend lends it to her friend, who lends it to *her* friend who happens to be named Katya, and also happens to be on vacation in Spain. A bit of googling results in text messages being exchanged, and mutual voyeuristic browsing through online photos. One thing leads to another, and they both wind up half-drunk in New York. I won’t reveal any details of the dramatic climax, but the denouement includes tearful reconciliations with no fewer than three different Katyas (and their respective love-children, of course) at which point this blog devolves into a long, drawn-out paean to polyamory.
The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.
Is a feminist denouncement called a fat waa?
>Is a feminist denouncement called a fat waa?
Yes. And if you announce that at the right spot in New York, then the level is complete, and everything completely changes again.
Disappointed you don’t refer to your holiday home in Cockney rhyming slang as “Sid” as in “Sid Annecy”.
I’ll get me coat.
No need to, Sid lives within us all.

@Bardon,
Still uncomfortable viewing after all these years.
Just a dumb kid out of his depth in an industry full of sharks with no conscience.
Did you know Mick Jagger paid for his lawyer?
No I didn’t know that well done Mick, yes in the video you can see Sid himself acknowledging that he had been well and truly stitched up.
