If capturing the best of the autumn colours was the aim of this I’m about a week too late, but these are some pictures taken around Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk yesterday.
Very nice colors. I imagine that they will all fade to white shortly.
Awesome pics Tim
Lovely pics.
But in response to “your” question
– Eto veter.
I’d be really grateful if you could remind me who sang that number. Brings back memories of lovely Odessa in the autumn…
Hi Ven,
The song is performed by DDT, but I think Viktor Tsoi from Kino and somebody else also contributes. Certainly, the other two are in the video Tatyana has linked to.
Credit to you Tim, fantastic photos as usual. The snow pic in the latest post is beautiful as well.
What a fantastic band – thanks for the tip, guys! I was long out of Russia when they formed in 81, and lost touch with the pop-culture there. It seems I’ve been missing quite a bit.Oh, and the photos are superb:-)
