In comparison with 2005 which I summed up here, 2006 for me wasn’t particularly exciting, with the exception of two major events: I got married and, with my new wife, left Dubai two weeks later to go and live on Sakhalin Island.  For those reasons alone, 2006 will be a memorable year.

Hopefully 2007 will bring more fun, travel, and adventure which I can write about on here, and I wish all my readers happiness and prosperity in the New Year.
