  1. This post is looking a little unloved but it was an interesting listen! I was curious whether Ben likes Poland so much partly because he finds the local culture more in tune with some of his personal values or if there’s a completely different reason why he enjoys it so much. He can definitely write though and I hope he has every success with it.

  2. You’ve gone from strength to strength over the last year or so, Tim, and these podcasts have been a very welcome addition to your output. I’m looking forward to the next one already!

I generally enjoy Ben’s stuff whenever I come across it (usually on/via Twitter) and his observations about writing are no doubt interesting but he’s probably a bit too reserved/cautious to make a really entertaining podcast guest. I favour the looser-tongued vitriol and bile merchants!

  3. Thanks Trevor!

To be fair, Ben was the only one who used his real name and has a reputation to upkeep (Chris Mounsey’s is still shot from his Devil’s Kitchen days 😉 )

I’ll see what I can do!
