Back in December I wrote<\/a> the following in regards to Somalian congresswoman Ilhan Omar:<\/p>\n

Any society which allows rank outsiders to enter and immediately set about agitating for radical change probably won\u2019t last very long. Any society which allows foreigners to take part in their national political process such that they attempt to overturn parts of the constitution, suppress free speech, and denounce the population as racist is engaged in a suicide pact.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Here’s Tucker Carlson a few days ago<\/a>:<\/p>\n

No country can survive being ruled by people who hate it.<\/p>\n

There are signs that some people who move here from abroad don’t like this country at all. As we told you last night, one of those people now serves in our Congress.<\/p>\n

Think about that for a minute.\u00a0Our country rescued Ilhan Omar\u00a0from the single poorest\u00a0place on Earth.\u00a0We didn’t do it for the money,\u00a0we did it because we are kind\u00a0people.\u00a0How did she respond to the\u00a0remarkable gift we gave her?<\/p>\n

She scolded us, called us names,\u00a0showered us with contempt.\u00a0It’s infuriating.\u00a0More than that, it is also\u00a0ominous.\u00a0The United States admits more\u00a0immigrants more than any other\u00a0country on Earth, more than a\u00a0million every year. The Democratic Party demand we\u00a0increase that by and admit far\u00a0more.\u00a0OK, Americans like immigrants,\u00a0but immigrants have got to like\u00a0us back.<\/p>\n

That’s the key, it’s essential.\u00a0Otherwise, the country falls\u00a0apart.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It appears Tucker has been reading my archives. Good for him. Naturally, Omar’s response was to call him racist<\/a>. But he also made this very good point:<\/p>\n

In some ways, the real villain\u00a0in the Ilhan Omar story isn’t\u00a0Omar, it is a group of our\u00a0fellow Americans.\u00a0Our cultural gatekeepers who\u00a0stoke the resentment of new\u00a0arrivals and turn them into grievance mongers like\u00a0Ilhan Omar.\u00a0The left did that to her, and to\u00a0us. Blame them first.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Indeed: the real problem is not immigrants hating America, it is Americans hating America, and this can easily be extrapolated to the UK and other western countries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
