{"id":841,"date":"2010-11-30T19:14:27","date_gmt":"2010-11-30T18:14:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.desertsun.co.uk\/blog\/?p=841"},"modified":"2010-11-30T19:14:27","modified_gmt":"2010-11-30T18:14:27","slug":"an-unenviable-job","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.desertsun.co.uk\/blog\/841\/","title":{"rendered":"An Unenviable Job"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You all know about the exploits of an engineer working in the Sakhalin oil and gas industry through my witterings on here.\u00a0 But probably few will have read about a day in the life of a camp administration girl on one of the construction sites in the north of the island.\u00a0 My friend Natasha, a Korean Sakhaliner, <a href=\"http:\/\/lilonatalie.wordpress.com\/2010\/10\/27\/chayvo\/\" target=\"_blank\">gives us a glimpse<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Another guy, or actually two guys. Someone took someones bed and they  couldn\u2019t decide who will sleep on the top bed and who on the bottom(a  bunk bed? not sure about correct name for the bed). So they decide to  come around to a Reception office and let me decide who should sleep  where and who s wrong etc.\u00a0 I never knew I could shout at the 40 ish  y.o. man that loud and scary. Of course at first i was calm and tried to  keep the situation under control, after about 20 minutes of listening  two babies cry I when the phrase \u201cI want justice\u201d I lost it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Around 10 \u201cI want to change my room, the guys are snoring and there is a  wind coming in from the power socket\u201d<br \/>\nme- \u201cSo they do snore in my room and the wind blows from the sockets,  and they will snore in another room and the wind will blow too, if not  from the socket, then from the night light that was screwed into the  wall all the way through out.
