To that end, I contacted an independent graphic designer who wanted between \u00a33,500 and \u00a36,000 to design me a logo. Nice money if you can get it but I wasn&#8217;t going to pay that, so instead I went <a href=\"https:\/\/studio.envato.com\/explore\/logo-design-branding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> and found <a href=\"https:\/\/studio.envato.com\/users\/sgcanturk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this guy<\/a>, who is Turkish. I asked him to draw me a logo around the theme of &#8220;desert sun&#8221; and put the words beside it, and he came back with 4 suggestions. A few iterations later I settled on this:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.desertsun.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/DesertSun.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5914\" src=\"https:\/\/www.desertsun.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/DesertSun-300x79.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"79\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.desertsun.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/DesertSun-300x79.png 300w, http:\/\/www.desertsun.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/DesertSun-768x202.png 768w, http:\/\/www.desertsun.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/DesertSun-1024x270.png 1024w, http:\/\/www.desertsun.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/DesertSun-500x132.png 500w, http:\/\/www.desertsun.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/DesertSun.png 2004w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The total cost was $150, and the whole process took about 3 days. I got high definition files plus other information associated with it, e.g. the font type. I modified it to create the <em>White Sun of the Desert<\/em> title that is now in my blog header.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not entirely sure I need a logo, but it&#8217;s fun to have.
