{"id":3315,"date":"2016-10-20T13:46:39","date_gmt":"2016-10-20T11:46:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.desertsun.co.uk\/blog\/?p=3315"},"modified":"2016-10-20T13:54:17","modified_gmt":"2016-10-20T11:54:17","slug":"life-liberty-and-er-some-blokes-jizz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.desertsun.co.uk\/blog\/3315\/","title":{"rendered":"Life, Liberty and&#8230;er&#8230;Some Bloke&#8217;s J*zz?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was only a matter of time before our masters started <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/2016\/10\/19\/single-men-will-get-the-right-to-start-a-family-under-new-defini\/\" target=\"_blank\">tying themselves in knots<\/a> due to their own stupidity:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Single men and women without medical issues will be classed as \u201cinfertile\u201d if they do not have children but want\u00a0to become a parent, the World Health Organisation is to announce.<\/p>\n<p>In a move which dramatically changes the definition of infertility, the WHO will declare that it should no longer be regarded as simply a medical condition.<\/p>\n<p data-mediaconductor-processed=\"true\">The authors of the new global standards said the revised definition gave every individual \u201cthe right to reproduce\u201d.<\/p>\n<p data-mediaconductor-processed=\"true\">Until now, the WHO\u2019s definition of infertility \u2013 which it classes as a disability \u2013 has been the failure to achieve pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sex.<\/p>\n<p data-mediaconductor-processed=\"true\"><span class=\"m_first-letter\">B<\/span>ut the new standard suggests that the inability to find a suitable sexual partner \u2013 or the lack of sexual relationships which could achieve conception \u2013 could be considered an equal disability.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-mediaconductor-processed=\"true\">That&#8217;s generally the problem with insisting somebody has the right to do something that requires the cooperation of one or more people. \u00a0It&#8217;s why the right to get married was so stupid: what if you&#8217;re too damned obnoxious to find a willing partner? \u00a0Have your rights been violated? \u00a0Apparently so:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Dr David Adamson, one of the authors of the new standards, said &#8220;It puts a stake in the ground and says an individual&#8217;s got a right to\u00a0 reproduce whether or not they have a partner. It&#8217;s a big change.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u00a0fundamentally alters who should be included in this group and who should\u00a0 have access to healthcare.
