It was only a matter of time before our masters started tying themselves in knots<\/a> due to their own stupidity:<\/p>\n

Single men and women without medical issues will be classed as \u201cinfertile\u201d if they do not have children but want\u00a0to become a parent, the World Health Organisation is to announce.<\/p>\n

In a move which dramatically changes the definition of infertility, the WHO will declare that it should no longer be regarded as simply a medical condition.<\/p>\n

The authors of the new global standards said the revised definition gave every individual \u201cthe right to reproduce\u201d.<\/p>\n

Until now, the WHO\u2019s definition of infertility \u2013 which it classes as a disability \u2013 has been the failure to achieve pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sex.<\/p>\n

B<\/span>ut the new standard suggests that the inability to find a suitable sexual partner \u2013 or the lack of sexual relationships which could achieve conception \u2013 could be considered an equal disability.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That’s generally the problem with insisting somebody has the right to do something that requires the cooperation of one or more people. \u00a0It’s why the right to get married was so stupid: what if you’re too damned obnoxious to find a willing partner? \u00a0Have your rights been violated? \u00a0Apparently so:<\/p>\n

Dr David Adamson, one of the authors of the new standards, said “It puts a stake in the ground and says an individual’s got a right to\u00a0 reproduce whether or not they have a partner. It’s a big change.<\/p>\n

“It\u00a0fundamentally alters who should be included in this group and who should\u00a0 have access to healthcare. It sets an international legal standard.\u00a0 Countries are bound by it.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Okay, marvellous. \u00a0So what do we do about this?<\/p>\n

In the UK, it is illegal to pay surrogates, resulting in a severe shortage\u00a0 of women wanting to take on the role.\u00a0 Similarly, there is a national shortage of sperm and eggs, with donors only\u00a0 able to receive expenses.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There is a shortage of sperm and eggs – which I suspect exists pretty much everywhere – and now the WHO is saying everybody has a right to somebody else’s, and countries are legally bound to provide them. \u00a0Presumably if they can’t make up the shortfall in the private sector, governments are going to have to create\u00a0state enterprises in which people are employed\u00a0to sit around doing nothing but wanking\u00a0all day.<\/p>\n
