Travel

Apologies for the lack of post yesterday: I am moving house and all my stuff got delivered yesterday. I’m sure most of you know what that’s like.

Posting will be a little sporadic over the next few days. I’m flying to Thailand tomorrow, then from 13th to 22nd September I’ll be in Perth visiting friends down under. If any Perth-dwellers wants to meet me for a drink, let me know. I am assuming William of Ockham and Bardon will nip over from the east coast, so I’ll not be alone.

  1. Yep, I have quite a few Pickford boxes that have been relocated about four times, but never opened since first packed, they have four different barcodes and company names and addresses on top of each other for each move. Come to think of it I don’t even know what is in them.

Enjoy Perth, regretfully I can’t make it and I think the prevailing winds will make it difficult for Billy the fish to sail there as well.

6 times in the past 6 years. There’s nothing worse.

Perth is where I’m from. Sorry I won’t be there. I’d give you some tips but you’re staying with locals so I’m sure they’ll look after you.

Okay, one tip – Rottnest Island.

  3. “This is your captain speaking. Welcome to Perth International Airport. The temperature is 30 degrees and the local time is, oh, about 1987”.

    The Blue Duck.
    Little Creatures Brewery.
    Rottnest.
The bell from St Martin’s In the Fields Church.
    Fremantle Prison.
Trolling the residents about their house prices.

    That’s about everything worth seeing/doing.
